TASTING NOTE: The wines of Valpolicella are known for their intricate blends of local grape varieties, and this one doesn't disappoint: it brings together 45% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara. There's lovely delicacy here, with fresh currant and cherry notes and a clean, lingering finish. Pair with soft cheeses or veggie risotto. (Vintages panel, May 2017) |
