Faintly ambering very deep intense red colour. Complex, somewhat mature, slightly spicy, intense, ripe, baked plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, solid, gently complex, ripe plum flavours with a very high acid, lingering, cedar-sandalwood finish. Showing nicely. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L02/16 on the back label. better than the 2008 (**/**+) released on August 6, 2016 at $46.95. Part of the Fun Facts Spotlight with 10 items.
