Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, cassis-cherry-tinged, cedar nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, bright, tangy, ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. This blend of 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88-points / BUY - Cedary, plum nose; medium to full-bodied, dry, firmly structured, blackberry and plum flavours with fresh acidity and a firm tannic finish. |
