Now ready to drink, this wine will have taken on more earthy character since Parker's review. TASTING NOTE: Soft, complex aromas of tobacco leaf, licorice, black cherries and black currants jump from the glass of this medium to dark ruby-colored 2008. This seductive, silky, mid-weight, savory, heady offering should be consumed over the next 5-7 years. Score - 89 (Robert Parker Jr., robertparker.com, May 1, 2011) |
