Extremely deep intense purple colour. Youthful, complex, cedary, baked ripe plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, well structured, medium-full bodied, extracty, mature, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, sandalwood finish that has some licorice notes. This 20 hc. chateau located on a plateau of limestone with bordering slopes of chalk and clay soils is planted with 74% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LA10151 on the front label The 2009 (***) with 90-points was released on March 2, 2013 at $36.85 (# 191452). CSPC 484253

TASTING NOTE: Soft, complex aromas of tobacco leaf, licorice, black cherries and black currants jump from the glass of this medium to dark ruby-colored 2008.
