Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, expansive, gently cedary, spicy, ripe plum puree nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very slightly spicy, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. This blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 78148001 on the lower part of the glass bottle. It is not quite up to the riper (14%) recommended best buy 2010 (***) released on January 10, 2015 at only $22.95. |
