Extremely deep intense purple colour. Fairly cedary, ripe plum-black cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, rich, ripe plum-cassis-blueberry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. This THIRD REPEAT has 14% alcohol and only 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L7263 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Savoury-cedary black currant and plum aromas with vanilla oak notes; medium to full-bodied, dry, mouth-filling flavours and black currant and plum finishing on a dark chocolate note; firmly structured. TASTING NOTE: This no longer includes any Syrah, so is now a five-way blend of Bordeaux grapes dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon. It's another classy wine from Rodrigo Soto, with polished tannins, notes of graphite and green pepper and a dense, subtly oaked finish. Drink: 2018-2024.
