VIGNES BLANCHES 2015 IGP Val de Loire
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE DE LA FRUITIÈRE
Mature bright light yellow colour. Fairly intense, spicy, honeyed, beeswax nose with some bright, lemon-apple nose. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied albeit quite well structured, spicy, bright, maturing, ripe apple-melon-lemon flavours with a lingering, fairly tangy, mineral-tinged, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink - it s/b great with seafood and poultry. In contrast to the note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue, this ever-changing blend of Melon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Folle Blanche has 12% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. A perfect by-the-glass wine for licensees. CSPC 527184

A Best Buy
TASTING NOTE: A blend dominated by Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay produces a crisp, herbal wine that has the background of a more creamy texture. From 20-year-old vines planted on granite soil, it has a tight, mineral edge as well as concentrated apple, citrus and fresh melon fruits. Drink now.
