The Berliner Wein Trophy competition does not provide tasting notes to accompany their medals. This is sourced from rocky, clay-based soils and was aged in American oak for six months. You can expect this to offer ripe cherry and plum tones with American-oak-infused chocolate and vanilla tones. Expect a smooth and silky wine that will match well with lamb or hard cheeses. Score - Gold (Berliner Wein Trophy, 2017) |
