| This Flagship Store Exclusive is incorrectly listed in the Vintages Catalogue on page 45 as a different wine. What was shipped is not cspc 535328, but actually a REPEAT of cspc 431882 that was released on February 4, 2017 at $29.95. Here is my updated note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Cedary, faintly herbal, dusty, spicy, sweetish stewed plum-cherry nose. Slightly sweet, medium to medium-full bodied, dense, smooth, spicy, juicy, stewed plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, Maraschino cherry finish. Has 15.3% alcohol and now 7 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. There are 91 cases available. The 2012 (*+) was released on November 28, 2015 at $27.95. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Cedar, leather and blackberry nose; full-bodied, sweetish black fruit flavours with vanilla oak predominating at the moment. Do we really need another new entry-level overpriced Zin? |
