LCBO Text Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
This comes from Königschaffhausen, long a trusted name in Baden, Germany's most southerly wine region. Pinot Noir is one of the leading varietals here, where it typically expresses a silky, ripe character. Sourced from a single vineyard planted in volcanic soil, this is from a vintage noted for producing relatively rich wines. You can expect to find a fine mineral tone alongside the well-articulated red fruit and toast notes. Always a good value. Price $ 18.95
