CÔTES DU RHÔNE 2015 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE DU GRANDE TINEL
Deep intense purple colour. Spicy, juicy, ripe apple-plum-cherry nose. Off dry, only medium bodied, juicy, pleasant, plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedary finish. A straightforward crowd-pleasing blend of 85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre with 15% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar and NEW lot number L17088 on the back label. You can safely ignore the 90-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue from October 28, 2016 as this batch of 599 cases was apparently bottled on March 29, 2017. All in all, it’s a tad pricey. CSPC 539478

TASTING NOTE: The 2015 Côtes du Rhône is smokin' good! Made from 85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, it's loaded with notions of strawberries, raspberries, Provençal spice and flower. Rounded, supple, with no hard edges and sweet tannin, it got a big \"Wow\" in the notes and it's well worth a case purchase for drinking over the coming 4-5 years. Drink date: 2016-2021.
