Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CALITERRA
Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, cedary, ripe plum nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly juicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, crisp, high acid finish. Has 14% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. Better than the 2013 (*+/**) that was released on February 20, 2016 at $16.95. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, spicy, blackcurrent bouquet; medium-bodied, dry, juicy and savoury currant flavours with lively acidity, well-integrated oak and ripe tannins.
