Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, bright, fairly intense, ripe black cherry-plum nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, rather dense, well structured, intense, ripe, warm plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, slightly spicy, somewhat cedary finish. This tasty NEW blend of 36% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Mourvèdre, 2% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot has 14.5% alcohol and 10 g/L residual sugar with lot number L120417 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / TRY - Cedary, spicy, blackberry bouquet with a floral note; medium-bodied, dry, well-extracted plum and blackcurrant flavours with a licorice note; nicely balanced, firmly structured with ripe tannins, The recommended best buy 2012 (***) with 90-points was released on October 31, 2015 at $29.95. |
