Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, mineral-tinged, baked ripe plum-cherry nose with lots of cedary notes plus a touch of mocha-chocolate. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, fairly intense, slightly spicy, firm, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, somewhat cedary finish. Needs time. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17256 on the back label with lot number L17256 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, spicy, blackcurrant nose with a note of dried herbs; medium to full-bodied, dry, blackcurrant flavour with savoury-herbal notes.
