Gold Medal winner at the 2017 New Zealand International Wine Show. TASTING NOTE: Youthful and instantly appealing, the bouquet shows blackberry, blueberry compote, cocoa and toasted hazelnut characters, leading to a concentrated palate that displays excellent fruit purity and vibrancy, together with velvety texture and supple tannins. This gorgeous shiraz is up front and generous. At its best: now to 2022. Score - 93 (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, March 2017) |
