TASTING NOTE: \"Leeuwenkuil\" translates approximately to \"lion's den,\" which is a great image for a wine with such spirit and strength. This features youthful, intense strawberry, red cherry and blackberry, with a peppery kick. Balanced, structured and fruit-forward, this wine was fermented in stainless steel and saw no oak, thus preserving even the most delicate of the fruit nuances.
