TASTING NOTE: Another new red blend, at least for me, the 2014 La Encina Centenaria feels earthier, with more influence from Monastrell with aromas of tree bark and esparto grass, and elegant rusticity in the palate. It has good depth and balance. Quite classical in style, with vinification and upbringing in oak barrels for one year. A nice addition to the portfolio, with more contained ripeness than some of the more expensive wines. Drink Date: 2016-2018. Score - 90 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, June 29, 2016) Price $ 16.95
