IRROSSO 2015 IGT Toscana
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CASANOVA DI NERI
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, somewhat cedary, baked plum-apple nose with some slight reductive notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, baked ripe plum-apple-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, rather complex, sandalwood-tinged finish. This tasty unfiltered Tuscan bend of Sangiovese Grosso and the earlier-ripening Colorino has 13.5% and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L117 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / TRY - Dense purple colour; high-toned, spicy cherry nose with a floral note; medium-bodied, dry, fruity but firm and dry with a tannic finish. CSPC 536235
