TASTING NOTE: This fine chateau delivers pretty, modern Bordeaux year after year. This has a very pretty, fragrant and spicy nose of cedar, vanilla cream, blackberry jam and foresty earthiness. It's medium weight, quite plush and supple on the mid-palate. The tannins are fine, the alcohol is a bit warm. Well structured in merlot's softer idiom, with very good to excellent length. Best now (with an hour decant) to 2023. Score - 91 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Oct. 2016) Price $ 43.95
