TASTING NOTE: A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, this youthful Bordeaux shows brambly wild currants, plum, graphite and woodsmoke wrapped in a bright ribbon of acidity. Excellent value. Decant for a half-hour or so to let it express its potential, and enjoy now through 2023 with bison burgers, mushroom stew or firmer cheeses. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2017) |
