TASTING NOTE: Though the King Valley was initially best known for growing tobacco, grapes have been grown in the area since around 1860. The region's varied topography and cool climate make it ideal for a wide range of varieties including Pinot, and the Gapsted Tobacco Road is a classic example. This delivers superb freshness and lift alongside impressive cherry and earth. There's an additional minty herbal undertone that is very attractive. (Vintages panel, April 2017) Price $ 16.95
