TASTING NOTE: Paul Mas is one of the most exciting producers in the South of France. They strive to impart their wines with a sense of \"luxe rural\": everyday (or simple) luxury. Under the stewardship of Jean-Claude Mas, the winery has become a trailblazer for the quality revolution that has gripped this part of France. Their 2016 Viognier is a great example. Floral and intense with ample suggestions of honey, apricot, peach, pear, citrus and minerality. A balanced wine that delivers impressively on the quality-and-value ratio.
