Bright medium straw colour. Spicy, slightly baked lemon-apple-apricot nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, baked lemon-apricot flavours with a lingering, mineral-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L7/256/02/2 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Peachy nose with a touch of oak spice; medium-bodied, dry, peachy-pear flavour with a mineral uptick on the finish. CSPC 370098

TASTING NOTE: Paul Mas is one of the most exciting producers in the South of France. They strive to impart their wines with a sense of \"luxe rural\": everyday (or simple) luxury. Under the stewardship of Jean-Claude Mas, the winery has become a trailblazer for the quality revolution that has gripped this part of France. Their 2016 Viognier is a great example. Floral and intense with ample suggestions of honey, apricot, peach, pear, citrus and minerality. A balanced wine that delivers impressively on the quality-and-value ratio.
