Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, sandalwood-tinged, fairly intense, ripe plum nose with some sandalwood and dusty apple notes. Dry, medium bodied, youthful, slightly spicy, firm plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, sandalwood-tinged, red licorice finish. This old school, rather rustic, sandalwood-tinged 2012 has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar.
