TASTING NOTE: From the mid-size house claiming to be the oldest in Champagne (est 1729), this is tidy, crisp yet youthful blend on pinot and chardonnay aged three years. It is a very nicely composed and balanced with with complex aromas of dried fruit, well integrated toast and brioche. Expensive for entry level \"brut non-vintage\", but also very classy. Excellent length. Score - 92 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Nov. 2016) |
