TASTING NOTE: This Merlot is sourced predominately from vineyards throughout the Wahluke Slope in eastern Washington, including the Indian Wells Vineyard, and features a splash of Syrah. It shows ripe plum and currant fruit with earthy, spice and vanilla notes on a nicely structured frame. Pair it with hearty pastas or marinated flank steaks. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) |
