| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, juicy, plum-cherry nose with some ripe cedary clove notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, harmonious, spicy, tangy, ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, crisp, cedary finish. This SECOND REPEAT has 13.8% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number 20160417 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The 2014 (**/**+) was last released on June 10, 2017 at $24.95. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Dense purple-ruby colour; cedary-smoky, toasty, plum bouquet; medium to full-bodied, dry, red plum flavour with oak notes. You can safely ignore the 91-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. |
