Extremely deep purple colour. Spicy, juicy, ripe plum purée nose with some cedar notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe plum puree flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, cedar-vanilla-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. This new blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah has 15% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number 7195 on the lower part of the glass bottle. This wine, created by Michel Gassier (of Château de Nages) and the brilliant winemaker Philippe Cambie, is named for the king of the gods. Look for a floral wine that puts an emphasis on clarity and depth, with ripe dark fruit, smoke and spice. Always a hit, and a great value. Price $ 17.95
