Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, fairly intense, gently complex, slightly cedary, baked plum-cherry nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very bright, slightly spicy, tangy, fairly intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BUY - Cedary, blackberry and spicy oak on the nose; medium to full-bodied, dry, black fruit flavours wish lively acidity and a biter chocolate finish.
