Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly cedary, spicy, baked ripe plum nose with some hints of garrigue. Very dry, medium-full bodied, intense, spicy, slightly baked, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary, high acid finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number LFP10.1 on the back label. The 2009 (***) with 90-points was released on July 22, 2017 at $38.95. TONY ASPLER / 90-points - Cedary, spicy, blackcurrant and Christmas cake nose; medium-bodied, dry, richly extracted, firmly structured with balancing acidity. |
