TASTING NOTE: From a family-owned and -run producer to watch, this blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc offers oodles of red berry fruit and mocha character. Excellent value in under-the-radar Bordeaux. Pour with cocoa- crusted flank steak and sage-and-butter-sautéed wild mushrooms. (Vintages panel, April 2017) |
