ACONCAGUA ALTO CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2015 Aconcagua Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ERRAZURIZ
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Quite herbal, spicy, baked ripe plum-cassis nose. Dry, well structured, medium to medium-full bodied, fairly dense, intense, spicy, tangy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with some peppery notes on the lingering, crisp, gently cedary, somewhat herbal finish. This new blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. The recommended 2014 (**/**+) was released on March 18, 2017 at $19.95.. TONY ASPLER / 87.5-points / BUY - Smoky, reductive nose of cherries; medium-bodied, dry, red cherry flavour with lively acidity and a firm finish. Unfortunately, the bottle has a 94-point James Suckling score on the capsule, apparently he only awarded this wine 93-points. CSPC 203364
