TASTING NOTE: An unconventional ripasso-style blend of Gamay grapes cuddling and canoodling with Cabernet Franc, this wine serves up notions of juicy strawberry, mixed berry compote and licorice. It's new to Vintages and priced to please, so embrace it with stews featuring beef and autumn vegetables, or give it (along with a hug) to a special someone. (Vintages panel, June 2017) |
