Extremely intense purple colour. Intense, gently spicy, ripe plum nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, fairly juicy, intense, tangy, very ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedary, cassis-tinged finish. This new blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Shiraz and 7% Merlot has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. Screwcap closure. The recommended 2013 (***) was released on October 29, 2016 at $39.95.
