Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, slightly dusty, plummy, dried cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, ripe plum and black cherry with hints of cassis followed by a lingering, cedary, high acid finish. Try with BBQ ribs. Has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 2017/07/19 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Spicy, earthy. plum and graphite nose; medium-bodied, dry, fruity but firm with a note of cinnamon on the finish. You can safely ignore the 95-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. CSPC 588731

TASTING NOTE: 100% Malbec. Opaque purple with rich, piercing and invigorating aromas of spice, blueberries and blackberries overlaid with toasty oak and wild herbs There's no lack of power and it certainly fills the mouth with flavour. The intensity positively leaps from the glass. A red made for grilled meat. Will flourish with 3-5 years in bottle. Platinum - Best in Show: Best Red Single-Varietal.
