RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY RESERVE CHARDONNAY 2014 Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer RODNEY STRONG
Bright light yellow colour. Cedary, bright, intense, lemon meringue nose with lots of toasty notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, rich albeit harmonious, well structured, spicy, intense, very attractive, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, still crisp, fairly toasty, gently cedary, key lime pie finish. This is showing beautifully at the moment and is my top value California Chard of the release! Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a lively 6.3 g/L total acidity The recommended best buy 2013 (***) with 93-points was released on June 25, 2016 at $45.95. CSPC 210039
