Once occupied by Cistercian monks from Clairvaux Abbey, this Champagne house includes some magnificent 12th-century vaulted cellars. Drappier was founded in 1808 and, in the 1930s, became the first producer in the village of Urville to plant Pinot Noir - a decision that was mocked at the time, although history has shown that the variety positively thrives there. This bubbly is made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
