MERLOT 2014 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DUCKHORN
Very deep intense purple colour. Cedary, spicy, bright, tight, plum-red cherry nose with some hints of red licorice notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly dense, gently juicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently complex, high acid finish. This Napa Valley Merlot shows good structure and mid-palate flavours. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 050916 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The 2012 (**+) was released on October 17, 2015 at $59.95. CSPC 992529
