Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat raisiny, baked plum nose with some cedary sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly extracty, spicy, faintly cooked, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, sandalwood-tinged, slightly tinny finish. This new blend of 70% Zinfandel, 15% Carignane, 12% Petite Sirah and 3% Alicante Bouschet has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number Lot #17-1.
