Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, ripe cherry-plum puree nose with some cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, lifted, slightly cedary finish. Ready-to-drink. This REPEAT has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L17193A on the capsule. TASTING NOTE: The 2008 Lorca Seleccion is a blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Syrah with malolactic fermentation in barrel and aging for 16 months in new French and Hungarian oak. A glass-coating purple/black color, it gives up a brooding bouquet of mineral, game, Asian spices, violets, and blueberry.
