Deep fairly dense purple colour. Intense, spicy, quite harmonious, bright, ripe baked cherry-plum puree nose with some slightly smoky, faintly reductive, mocha-chocolate-cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, fairly intense, rather complex, plum-cherry-cranberry flavours with a lingering, spicy, tangy, cedar-tinged finish that shows some mercaptan rubber-hose notes. Tasted twice. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L20042B009 on the back label. Not up to the 2014 (***) released on December 10, 2016 at $45.95. CSPC 598813

TASTING NOTE: Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir has pretty violet, red cherry and warm raspberry scents with a hint of cinnamon and dusty earth.
