LA VITE LUCENTE 2015 IGT Toscana |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Marchesi di Frescobaldi/Robert Mondavi |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Fairly intense, cedar-sandalwood nose with some ripe plum-cherry puree notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, somewhat spicy, intense, high acid, intense, warm ripe plum flavours with a lingering, youthful, mineral-tinged, cedar-driven finish. This Merlot-dominated blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon is the second wine to Luce. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L7/138 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

A Merlot-dominated blend with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, this is the second wine to the iconic Luce, and a great favourite of Vintages customers. Always a silky and powerful wine that is a paradigm of craftsmanship. What's not to love? |
