PRIMITIVO DI MANDURIA 2014 DOP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ANTICO SIGILLO
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, baked apple-plum nose with some raisiny notes. Very slightly sweetish, medium-full bodied, dense, very spicy, stewed apple-plum flavours with a crisp, somewhat cedary finish. Ready-to-drink. Another Puglia Primitivo REPEAT, this time with a lower 14.5% alcohol (down from 15%) and the same 8 g/L residual sugar with new lot number L207/17 (meaning that this batch was bottled on Wednesday, July 26, 2017). It all means that you can safely ignore the irrelevant 90-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue which refers to a previously bottled batch with an unknown alcohol level. A REPEAT of the 2014 (*/*+) with 85-points last released on March 4, 2017 at $19.95. CSPC 439596
