BARBARESCO 2013 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MARCHESI DI BAROLO
Slightly ambering bright medium deep red colour. Slightly spicy, fairly intense, warm plum nose with some slightly complex, sandalwood-licorice notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, slightly spicy, fairly intense, plum-cherry flavours with a rather crisp, sandalwood-tinged finish. This traditional producer has hit the mark with this new 2013 release which has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2537 on the capsule. By far the best in quite some time!
