Very deep intense purple red colour. Attractive, fairly complex, gently juicy, ripe plum and cherry nose with some cedary-sandalwood-mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, fairly spicy, vibrant, plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Spicy, cedary, plum and tobacco nose; medium-bodied, dry, savoury, bitter chocolate and black cherry flavours with lively acidity. |
