Very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, still slightly closed, intense, ripe plum-cherry nose with some mineral-tinged, cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, fairly dense, well structured, intense, youthful, cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, slightly cedary, still tight finish. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 524439

TASTING NOTE: This is from Ginestet's Collection Grandes Appellations line, which is crafted from grapes sourced from some of the most significant properties and terroirs in Bordeaux. Each wine allows a window into the majesty of many of these prestigious estates. This 2015 is bright and tart with impressive floral, fruit, cassis and a pencil-shaving minerality. The tannins are dry and tight and the wine balanced with superb structure.
