LIMITED EDITION CARMENÈRE 2015 Maipo Valley |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
PÉREZ CRUZ |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, reedy, peppery, baked plum nose with some dried apple notes. Dry, medium bodied, very spicy, herbal, stewed plum-apple flavours with a cedary, high acid, somewhat bitter finish. Tight and still inaccessible, it may well open up in a few years. It has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16.17CA15 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The 2012 (*+/**) was released on March 29, 2014 at $19.95. |
