Extremely deep intense purple colour. Youthful, slightly spicy, intense, dried ripe plum nose with some sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, dense, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary, faintly volatile finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Spicy, cedary, plum nose with vanilla oak notes; medium-bodied, dry, lean and sinewy redcurrant flavour; firm structure with lively acidity. |
