HILLS ARE ALIVE SHIRAZ 2015 Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ZONTE'S FOOTSTEP
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, herbal, Noxema nose with lots of baked plum-cherry puree notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. Not my style. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L6113 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. CSPC 522342

TASTING NOTE: Dark deep purple color. Spicy, green aromas and flavors of chocolate mint, spicy blueberry pie, menthol lozenge, and cappuccino gelato with a satiny, tangy, fruity medium-to-full body and an even, layered, medium long spiced nuts, white toffee, and peppery spices finish with fine tannins and light oak. A lush, spicy shiraz that is sure to please. Exceptional. Score - 92 (tastings.com, Nov. 7, 2016) Price $ 19.95
