ZONTE'S FOOTSTEP |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, herbal, Noxema nose with lots of baked plum-cherry puree notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. Not my style. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L6113 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |

TASTING NOTE: Dark deep purple color. Spicy, green aromas and flavors of chocolate mint, spicy blueberry pie, menthol lozenge, and cappuccino gelato with a satiny, tangy, fruity medium-to-full body and an even, layered, medium long spiced nuts, white toffee, and peppery spices finish with fine tannins and light oak. A lush, spicy shiraz that is sure to please. Exceptional. Score - 92 (tastings.com, Nov. 7, 2016) |
