The Stoneleigh Vineyard is situated on the northern side of the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. The area is known locally as the \"Golden Mile\" of vineyards. Stoneleigh took its name from the stones that cover the vineyard. These are the remains of an ancient river bed, and they assist in the ripening of the grapes by reflecting the heat of the sun during the day and releasing the retained heat during the night. You can expect a wine with impressive tropical fruit, herbs and mineral tones. Price $ 21.95
