| Bright extremely pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat honeyed, ripe melon-apple-lemon with some gentle cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe lemon-apple flavours with a lingering, crisp, gently cedary, fairly high acid, tangy finish. Has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L7173 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. Not quite up to the recommended 2015 (**/**+) released on August 5, 2017 at $18.95. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BUY - Spicy oak and ripe pineapple bouquet; medium to full-bodied, slightly creamy on the palate with surprising acidity on the finish. |
